Harmony Airways: Round II - Monday, March 28 2005
got to the airport on time, during check-in i wanted to keep my one suitcase as a carry-on, but the guy was anal n said it had to be checked in. haai...ah well, the flight left on time at least.
YVR 1102PST - 1830EST YYZ (landed 25min. early)
got my luggage, called mike to let him know i arrived (using the quarters i got from returning loose luggage carts)
1945: mike arrives, head to wendy's/tim's for a quick snack, then head over to "scarberia"
2100: get to Richard's house where the Seagram alumni have their weekly "24" viewing, just chilled n relaxed for a few hours
- head back to North York, drop off bags at the apartment n head downstairs to some place across the street: Owl of Minerva. 24hr Korean restaurant that opened a few months ago, pretty good. mak had the pork n potato soup, n i had me a nice big plate of bulgogi...mmm...
- nice warm belly, got in a couple episodes of Cowboy Bebop, n crashed @ 0330

0630: mike wakes me up so i could catch the sun coming up over smoggy TO from his balcony:
nice...then back to bed.
1130: wake for real, brunch @ Asian Legend w/ mak's mom & grandma, then took the subway down to Bloor st.
- walked around Yorkville area, nice neighbourhood, then down to Queen St. where CityTV was, caught P. Diddy arriving to the screams and shrieks of his groupies
- visited G @ his office, made dinner plans, then kept on walking down to Lakeshore (south end of TO which overlooks Lake Ontario?)
2000: me n mike meet up w/ G & his buddy Nelson n go for wings @ The Wheat Sheaf: 4 guys = 100 wings for $30. that was dirrrty...
- then back to the condo, played some pool, n caught a few more episodes of Bebop before crashing @ 0130
Wanderings - Wednesday, March 30 2005
1300: wake, breakfast @ home, went w/ Mike to run errands over in Richmond Hill
- back home, chill till around 1600 when mike has to go out
1600-1900: head out on my own, walk South on Yonge till somewhere past Sheppard
- check out a nearby tat2 shop, some malls, North York city hall, street stores, etc...
- stop for coffee @ 2nd Cup, took in the city...
1930: meet back @ Mike's, head out n grab a panzerotto for dinner, more walking, check out Empress Walk (i think mak's really trying to get me to notice the wildlife around here, despite my claims of having already been "distracted" for the time-being =P)
- grab a drink, talked for a bit, then get a hold of brother Tobias (Toby)...
- head over to Toby's place, shoot some pool, chill, then back home...
Sesame Street Reunion - Thursday, March 31 2005
- wake up late again, breakfast, then off to the Ambassadors for Christ (AFC) office to pick up Yu-Ling (big bird). snuffaluffagus & big bird are reunited!
- these 2 decide to bring me to Fairview to go "shopping" (*ahem...yeh), meet up w/ Wayne there too, decided to grab Pirates of the Caribbean & Any Given Thursday dvd's from HMV for $15 each. nyeh...seemed like a good deal.
1830ish: take big bird back to his nest, then head back to mike's to pack up stuff n head to Waterloo for the night
2000ish: roads start to look familiar, it's Waterlooo...
- got to CIF just as the hockey team was coming outside and celebrating after a 6-0 victory (over an all girl's team of course), then headed for the 252 Westcourt house
- get to Westcourt just in time for a nice meaty dinner...
- good food, good times. crash @ 0400
a Day for Fools - Friday, April 1 2005
0830: wake up n try to give mike yung a wakeup call like requested so he could get to class on time by throwing his slippers in his face (dunno if it worked), then back to sleep
1300: wake up for real this time, head to school for breakfast (that's kinda sad now that i think about it), work out @ PAC one last time from 1400-1500
- head home, nap again, then just chill
1800-1900: head to the Plaza for dinner w/ Mike Yung, JT & Lorna, then off to the term's last CCF afterwards
2300-0200: about 15 of us went to chill/cook/eat @ GC afterwards (thx alex!), good times cooking, eating, talking...
- walked back towards Westcourt w/ John Hui after, came across CCFers packing up hockey in the SC Parking lot, got back to l'hotel Westcourt, then finally crashed @ 0510
all good things... - Saturday, April 2 2005
1300: wake, mak makes some instant noodles for breakfast, w/ frozen veggies & ham leftover from grad dinner...mmm...Westcourt cuisine.
1500: meet up w/ my old housemate Sam, go over to Starbuck's to chill n catch up for a bit, then check out his place @ the "Lesturrr House", then head back to WC where we catch the 3rd part of the former 395 Hazel St. Trio: M.O.D., doing laundry in the basement.
- had a good time just talking/catching up w/ them, stopped by nearby MOD's place after to borrow his guitar afterwards too. uy...it's starting to snow again! they tell me it was all sunny last week up until now...(just found out about the Pope today too)
2000ish: one last greasy dinner @ Montana's w/ a bunch of ppl. got the chicken n rib combo, split the Mile High Mud Pie w/ mak afterwards...mmm...mud pie...
- drop by Dooly's n shoot a few racks before heading back to WC where a bunch of ppl have already congregated...
by now, most of us are pretty tired/worn out; sitting around chatting, zoning out, spacing out, and some just passing out. either way, there's always opportunities for mischief. whether it's beautifying the sleeping mr. yung:
...or listening to alexis try & explain his insights into the infinitely mind-boggling mysteries of the universe that lie right before our very eyes in everyday objects...it's times like these that i'm sure i'll miss the most. this one's for you dude:
(if you're ever feeling lost in life, you gotta talk to this guy. he'll show you where to look. =P)
crash @ 0200. oh no wait! daylight savings!! make that 0300. uy...O_o

0930: wake up to go to KWCAC service, final thing to do before i head back west. uyy...it snowed pretty bad overnight too. starting to feel a lil (just a bit, given my track record) nervous about catching my flight
- grab some pie for breakfast after service, head back to WC to grab luggage n it's off to the airport
- along the way, see a jack-knifed semi on the westbound (whew!) side of the 401, drove by an accident that caused a small holdup on our side (eastbound), but got to YYZ w/ plenty of time to spare
- had one last drink @ William's w/ mak after checking in my bags, then said our farewells n boarded what should be my last flight out of TO for quite a while...
